The Elections Department administers all federal, state and local elections in Columbia County, registers voters, maintains voter registration records, and provides voters information.

Columbia County is all Vote by mail, with electronic machines available for accessible voting.  All voters will receive their ballots in the mail. The courthouse is available for 20 days before the election for accessible voting, and will remain open for ballot drop-off and use of accessible voting equipment between 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. on Election Day.
