The Auditor's office performs all auto licensing for Garfield County.  Farming is a major industry; therefore licensing is very diverse among the residents.

Marriage Licensing

Garfield County Auditor's office sells marriage licenses.  There is a three day waiting period in Washington state.  Our county charges $32.00 per license; they are voided after 60 days if not used.

Pet Licensing

Garfield County does not license pets.  However inside the city limits of Pomeroy pet licenses are required.  They have different rates for different situations.  The City Clerk can be reached at (509) 843-1601.
