Ballots will be available October 4, 2009 and mailed on October 16, 2009. Only voters that live within the districts may vote on these issues.

Fax and Email Ballot for Overseas and Service Voters - This allows voters who have requested their ballot by the deadline but not received it to vote.

Chelan County is a Vote By Mail County.
All voters will receive their ballots in the mail. If you need a replacement ballot please contact our office (509) 667-6808.  Disability voting equipment is available.

The County Courthouse will remain open for ballot drop-off and use of the
accessible voting equipment 20 days prior M-F 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on
Election Day between 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Official ballot drop box sites are available 20 days prior to Election Day and sealed at excatly 8:00pm on Election Day at the following locations:

Filing week for 2009 June 1st - 5th
Void in Candidacy Media Release - Special 3 Day Filing Period begins 9:00am June 10, 2009 and will end June 12, 2009 at 5:00pm.

The Primary Election is August 18, 2009
The General Election is November 3, 2009
Chelan County Open Offices for 2009

The Election's Department administers all federal, state and local elections in Chelan County, registers voters, maintains voter registration records, and provides voters information. Currently there are approximately 38,500 registered voters in Chelan County.

Information Request Form - To receive voter registration information you must first read the attached RCW’s and then sign below. Also attached is an information sheet that lists some of the reports that are available to you. We have the ability to customize most reports. So please let us know if you need more information.
