The two candidates with the most votes from the Top 2 Primary advance to the General Election

Each candidate for President and Vice-President is the official nominee of a political party. For other partisan offices, each candidate may state a political party that he or she prefers. A candidate's preference does not imply that the candidate is nominated or endorsed by the party, or that the party approves of or associates with that candidate.

Please Note

Important upcoming dates:

October 4, 2008-Last day to register to vote in the General except for in-person registration at the auditor's office.

October 5, 2008-Overseas and military ballots mailed for the November 4 General.

October 12, 2008-Voters' Education Forum, 2-4 p.m. Volunteer Park, Pasco

October 20, 2008-Last day for in-person registration at the auditor's office for the primary.

November 3, 2008-Last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the General.

Unofficial election results will be posted on this website after 8:00 p.m. on election night. Final, certified results will be available November 25, 2008.
