Grays Harbor County Licensing Section

The Licensing Section is a part of the Grays Harbor County Auditor's office. We act on behalf of the State Department of Licensing to provide vehicle and vessel related licensing services to the citizens of Grays Harbor.

You can renew your annual vehicle or vessel licenses, get temporary trip permits, buy specialized license plates, tonnage for large trucks, and obtain title for both in-state and out-of-state vehicles, all in this office. We process about 40,000 total transactions each year with less than 2 people.

Disability Placards

Temporary and permanent disability placards can be obtained at the Grays Harbor Auditor's Department of Licensing or the two county sub-agencies located in Hoquiam and Elma.
