NOTICE BY THE PACIFIC COUNTY AUDITOR OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 13, 2007.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, a Special Election will be held in Pacific County, State of Washington for the submission to the qualified voters the following:
BALLOT MEASURES
PROPOSITION NO. 1
SOUTH BEND SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 118
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS - $1,715,000
The Board of Directors of South Bend School District No. 118 approved Resolution No. 12-2006 concerning this proposition for bonds. This proposition authorizes the District to renovate South Bend Junior-Senior High School and Chauncey Davis Elementary School and make other capital improvements; to issue $1,715,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum term of 15 years; and to levy additional property taxes annually to repay the bonds, as described in Resolution #12‑2006. This election is entirely by mail ballot. You may return your ballot to the Pacific County Auditor’s office in South Bend. On Election Day only the Auditor’s offices will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. On Election Day there will be two drop sites; Auditor’s office, 300 Memorial Dr., South Bend and South Bend High School, 500 E 1st St., South Bend The Auditor’s office is ADA compliant, voting aids are available upon request.
Ballots may be returned by mail. Place a 39 cent stamp on the ballot return envelope. YOUR BALLOT MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN THE DAY OF THE ELECTION.
