The Election's Department administers all federal, state and local elections in Pend Oreille County and is responsible for voter registration, maintaining voter registration records and providing voters with election information. Currently there are approximately 8,000 registered voters in Pend Oreille County. Below you will find links to assist you in registering to vote and in keeping your voter information current.

Pend Oreille County is a Vote by Mail County

  • All voters will receive their ballots in the mail. If you need a replacement ballot please contact our office (509) 447-6472.
  • Disability voting equipment is available at the 4th Street Courthouse.
  • The County Courthouse remains open for ballot drop-off and use of the
    accessible voting equipment 20 days prior to elections as follows:

      •      8:00am - 4:30pm  M - F
      •       7:00am - 8:00pm  Election Day
