Assistance to Voters with Disabilities
Our Office has Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) called AutoMarks available for voters who would otherwise need assistance in filling out a paper ballot.
In order to use the AutoMark, voters must bring their Vote-by-Mail ballot to the Elections Office or Voter Service Center.
These electronic machines can display larger type or can provide an audio ballot for persons with visual or cognitive disabilities.

Voters can cast their ballot by using the touch screen or tactile button options to mark their ballot.
The AutoMark also supports a limited number of assistive switches. |

The AutoMarks are available during business hours at the Elections Office beginning 20 days before the election.
They are also available on Election Day from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. |
| On-line audio and video demonstrations of the AutoMark are available on the ES&S web site.
