Voter registration

  • Register to vote here.
  • Military and overseas voters are exempt from the voter registration deadlines.
  • Check the box that you are in the armed forces or living overseas.

Receive your ballot

You may receive your ballot by postal mail, email or fax.

Contact your county elections office to:

  • Request a ballot or a replacement.
  • Would like to change how you receive your ballot (for example, by email instead of postal mail).
  • Update your voter registration information.

Return your ballot

  • Vote your ballot and sign the declaration no later than Election Day.
  • You may return your ballot and declaration by postal mail, email or fax to your county election office.
  • If you return your ballot by fax or email, it must be received on Election Day by 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
  • If you return your ballot by postal mail, your ballot will be counted as long as it is received within 15 days after a Primary, or 21 days after a General Election.
