Make Sure Your Vote Counts
Every election some votes don't get counted because ballots aren't properly filled out, or the envelopes are not signed. Please watch the video below to help you make sure your vote is counted.
Assistance to Voters with Disabilities
 |
Accessible Voting Units, or AVU's, can assist voters in casting their ballot independently. The AVUs can display larger type or can provide an audio ballot for persons with visual or cognitive disabilities. Voters can also cast their ballots by using the touch screen or tactile button options. An AVU acts as a printer and voters need to bring their ballot with them to utilize it.
AVUs are available at the Spokane County Elections office at 1033 W. Gardner Ave in Spokane, beginning 20 days before each election until 8:00 pm election night. On Election Day only, they are available to voters at all Voter Service Centers.
For additional information, contact the Elections Office at (509) 477-2320. |
