May 15 First day candidate filings by mail may be accepted
May 26 Last day to file resolution for a special election held in conjuction with the August 18th Primary
June 1 First day for in-person candidate filing
June 5

Last day for in-person candidate filing

June 5 Lot draw for ballot position - 5:00 p.m.
June 11 Last day for candidates to withdraw
June 12 Deadline for candidates to submit statements & photos
July 17 Overseas and military ballots mailed for the Primary
July 18 Last day for mail-in and on-line voter registration & address changes for the Primary Election
July 29 Vote by Mail ballots available for the Primary
July 29 Begin mailing of the Primary ballots
August 10 Last day in-person registration for voters not currently registered in Washington State for the Primary Election
August 17 Last day to file as a write-in candidate for the Primary
August 18 PRIMARY ELECTION
September 2

Certification of the Primary Election

October 2 Overseas and military ballots mailed for the General Election
October 5 Last day for mail-in and on-line voter registration & address changes for the General Election
October 14 Vote by Mail ballots available for the General Election
October 14 Begin mailing of the General Election ballots
October 26

Last day in-person registration for voters not currently registered in Washington State for the General Election

November 2

Last day to file as write-in candidate for the General Election

November 3 GENERAL ELECTION
