There are few laws regulating the placement of campaign signs by candidates. Some local units of government, including the City of Spokane, have passed laws regulating signage. In addition, the Department of Transportation has rules regulating the placement of signs along state highways.
You can access the City of Spokane's ordinance and information from the state D-O-T. Comments or complaints about campaign signs should be directed to your local unit of government or the D-O-T. The Spokane County Elections Office has no authority to regulate campaign signs.
