Auditor’s Office Mission:
It is the mission of Wahkiakum County Auditor's office to efficiently manage the electoral process with integrity, a spirit of innovation, accessiblitiy, and efficient use of taxpayer resources. All responsibilities are performed in a professional, forthright and fair manner.
In Washington State the duties of the County Auditor embrace a wide range of services to the public, including:

Serving as ex officio Supervisor of Elections

Registrar of Voters

Recorder of documents

Motor Vehicle and Vessel Licensing Agent

Chief Financial Officer for the county

Administering elections

Maintaining voter registration records

Issuing vehicle and vessel licenses

Issuing and maintaining permanent records of marriage licenses.

Accepting and recording into public record all real property documents, deeds and titles

Reception and routing all legal action served on the county

LICENSING: Wahkiakum County Auditor’s Office is a registered agent for
Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL). We provide a variety of services including, but not limited to: title transfers, registration renewals, trip permits, disabled parking permits, tonnage for trucks, mobile home titling and mobile home elimination.
